Delete your account

You can delete your Mealfolder account yourself at any time. Nothing is held back and there is no waiting period.

From inside the app or website

1. Sign in and open Account (bottom tab on a phone, top right on a computer).
2. Open Delete account at the bottom of the page.
3. Enter your password and confirm.

If you own a household that still has other members, hand it over or remove them first (Household page); the app tells you if that applies.

By email

Write to support@mealfolder.com from the address on the account. We confirm the request and delete within 7 days.

What is deleted

• Your account: email, name, password hash, sign-up details, plan status.
• If you were the only member of your kitchen: every recipe, photo, meal plan, grocery list and import history in it.
• If other people remain in the kitchen, the shared recipes and plans stay with them; your name is removed from them.
• Any paid plan is cancelled at once. Stripe keeps invoice records as required by law.

What is kept, and for how long

Encrypted database backups age out within 35 days. Support emails are kept for two years. Server logs, 30 days. See the privacy policy.
