Meal planner for Canada

A meal planner that writes your grocery list.

Save the recipes you actually cook, from a link, a photo of a cookbook page or a pasted note, then drag dinners onto the week. Mealfolder writes the grocery list for you, quantities added up and sorted by aisle, for whichever store you shop at.

Free for 10 recipes and this week's plan. No card.

How it works

  1. Save. Paste a recipe link, snap a cookbook page or import another app's file.
  2. Plan. Drag dinners onto the week, or let Mealfolder suggest a week from your own recipes.
  3. Shop. One tap writes the shopping list, quantities combined and sorted by aisle.

What works in Canada

All of it, with one exception. The recipe box, the weekly meal planner, the shopping list, link and photo import, and sharing one kitchen with up to six people work the same as in the US. Metric and imperial both work: recipes in grams, millilitres and °C keep their units, and so do cups and ounces.

The one US-only feature: local grocery price lookup. "Check prices" compares stores near a US ZIP code, so it does not cover shops in Canada. Everything else on this page does.

Price

Prices are set in US dollars: Plus $12.99 a year, Household $19.99 a year. On the web your card is charged in US dollars; Google Play shows the price in your own currency before you pay (C$). If you import more than 10 recipes you get a one-time offer of $4 off the first year.
