These terms are between you and 9GG LLC ("we"), a Wyoming limited liability company, for the Mealfolder service at mealfolder.com and its apps. By creating an account you agree to them.
Mealfolder stores recipes, meal plans and grocery lists you create or import, and provides planning, list and cooking features, some of which use third-party AI models. AI output can be wrong; check quantities, times and allergens before relying on them.
You keep ownership of everything you put in. You give us the licence needed to store, display and process it to run the service for you and your household. You are responsible for having the right to save what you save; personal use of published recipes is normal, republishing someone else's copyrighted text is not what Mealfolder is for.
Import tools (links, photos, Paprika files, the Mealime rescue and any others we add) fetch recipes you ask for from publicly available pages or files you provide and save them only into your own account. We keep an index of recipe titles and page addresses from other services so matching works; we do not publish or share the recipes themselves. Photos are copied so your recipe keeps working if the original site goes away. Other services' names are trademarks of their owners; Mealfolder is not affiliated with any of them, and if a rights holder asks us to remove specific content we will honour that and tell you.
You can export all your content at any time, on every plan, in a machine-readable format. If we ever discontinue Mealfolder, we will give at least 90 days' notice by email and keep the export available for the whole notice period. We will not sell your content to a third party as part of any transaction without offering you that export first.
Free, Plus and Household plans are described on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed annually through Stripe, renew automatically, and can be cancelled any time from Account → Manage billing; cancellation stops the next renewal and you keep paid features until the period ends. Refunds within 14 days of a first purchase on request; otherwise no partial refunds. Prices can change with 30 days' notice and never mid-period.
Do not use Mealfolder to send spam, to scrape sites at volume, to store unlawful content, to attack the service, or to resell access. Households are for people who share a kitchen, not for pooling unrelated accounts. We may suspend accounts that break these rules, after notice where practical.
You can delete your account at any time. We can end the service for an account that violates these terms. In either case the portability promise applies.
The service is provided as is. Recipes, nutrition data and AI suggestions are informational; they are not medical or dietary advice. We do not guarantee that any recipe site will remain importable, since sites change and some block automated access.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
You will indemnify us against claims arising from content you store or your breach of these terms.
Wyoming law governs these terms. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Wyoming, unless mandatory consumer law where you live gives you the right to your local courts.
We will post changes here and email account holders about material ones at least 14 days before they take effect.
