Crouton's export produces a zip archive with one .crumb file per recipe. Mealfolder reads the whole archive: titles, ingredients, directions, photos, notes and the original source link where Crouton kept one.
Full importer for the zip of .crumb files. Export location per Crouton's settings as documented by third-party import guides, read November 1, 2026; the menu label varies by version.
Free plan: 10 recipes and this week's plan. If your import is bigger, you get a one-time offer at that moment: $4 off the first year of Plus ($8.99) or Household ($15.99), good for 30 days.

Crouton is free with a paid tier and runs on Apple devices only. Mealfolder runs on the web and Android as well, imports from photos and pasted text, and shares one plan and list across up to six people on the Household plan. Free for 10 recipes and this week's plan, then $12.99 a year.
Recipes land in your box with their photos and source links. Drop them onto the week in Plan, tap Make grocery list, and the list is written by aisle. Everything you import can be exported again at any time, on every plan (portability promise).
Crouton is a trademark of its owner. Mealfolder is not affiliated with it. Export steps were checked on the date in the guide and may change; tell us at [email protected] if they have.
